Depends on what you ordered and if you receive merchandise for the amount you paid.
If they mis-represented the item, it is fraud. If they deliver product, they probably will have "fullfilled committment". If you do not receive the product ordered within a reasonable time frame, then file a complaint with the State Attorney General Fraud Division. Their address etc has been posted many times within this forum. Not meant as a defense of these groups, BUT...many of us have purchased legitimate stuff that turns out to be totally useless to our research. Back to BUYER BEWARE 101! |

I too got taken by this company. I cancelled the very next day because they never sent me a password. But they sent their check form through anyway. They have done it twice and have cost me a great deal of money. Overdraft charges, new checks (as had to close my account and open a new one, at my bank) it was the only way to stop them, two boxes of checks, that I now can't use. They are a real slippery out fit. They keep moving e-mail accounts around. |

Sorry to hear of your losses, but once again, am waiting to hear from anyone who has actually REPORTED them to the IA Attorney General, Consumer Fraud Div.
Is the IA AG's office non-responsive? Just ONE report in here would restore my faith in the ability of the public to stop WHINING and do something positive to protect themselves. |

I can't believe I was so gullible!!!!! But trying to see what you think is new information, at a cheaper price........ugh. You have to put in your check information before you can look at the "library". I fell for it this morning....will be at the bank in the morning to fix this____!!!! I tried to fill out an online form for Internet Fraud but I don't have any of the information the form calls for. Who do I call in KY. I need a phone number. Can someone please help???

I was also scamed by genseakers, signed on for trial cancelled the same day and now they have taken 54.99 out of my checking account. What can be done about this?? Went to the site and it won't let me in

I just recieved a "5 day free offer" from this company. I checked out their "offer". Even their "contact us" address is bogus. It's got a yahoo address and yet they don't subscribe to yahoo.

I to fell for Genseekers. I sent a post to them to cancel me out and never realized that it was a spam and fraud. I am going to the bank to stop payment on the check but now I too am worried cause my bank number also is out here. I thought if strange when I joined that I could not even get into it as a member. Has anyone got any new information on this genseekers? Thanks

I was also scammed by Genseekers. They told me at different times 3 different areas of family I was looking for, that they had info on. i mailed them a check which they cashed and i have never received an acknowledgement.
I have written 3 times , two with copies of the check and did not receive an answer. I am still receiving emails from them to join. I wish someone could stop them. Marie S. |
